The world currently has Mr. Rogers mania

So much Mr. Rogers news, so little time.

I'm not sure I would write a blog post about one of these things.... but the fact all three of them are happening at the same time?!

First off, the United State Post Office released a Mr. Rogers stamp! The stamp is now available and can be purchased up online or at mail offices.

Underneath the stamps issue date, the USPS website says, "Fred Rogers (1928-2003) was known as beloved television neighbor to generations of children. His groundbreaking public television series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood inspired and educated young viewers with warmth, sensitivity, and honesty."

In more Mr. Rogers news, the trailer for Morgan Neville's new movie, Won't You Be My Neighbor? was released.

As the named suggests, this is a movie about Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers).

Watch the trailer below:

Finally, it has also been announced that Tom Hanks will be playing Mister Rogers in the upcoming movie, You Are My Friend. The movie will be a biopic on Mr. Rogers.

According to, "The film is inspired by a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and award-winning journalist Tom Junod. In the story, a cynical journalist begrudgingly accepts an assignment to write a profile piece on the beloved icon and finds his perspective on life transformed."

I am glad that even 15 years after his death, the world is continuing to immortalize Fred Rogers.
