Thank you OPEN STREETS PITTSBURGH

I didn't need some event to reaffirm my love of this city.... but of course it happened anyways.

It's not every day...in fact, it only happens three times a year.... that Pittsburgh closes off major streets in bridges so yinzers can do.... whatever they like!

Drum lines, zumba, yoga, giant pong, CPR training, and jugglers were only a few of the fantastical things I saw happening in the streets of Pittsburgh yesterday.

Open streets mission is pretty cool: healthy living, shopping and eating, re-imagining city spaces, and thinking green.  You know... if you're into that sort of thing.

I cannot rave enough about this event.  I am majorly bummed that it will be an entire year before it happens again.

Open Streets has an amazing website so be sure to check that out.

See if your city has a ciclovia event coming soon!
